THE CLEGHORN’S

[Chelsey] Before we found Lifepoint, I felt as if my life was falling apart! Exactly a month before attending for the first time, I lost my little sister to electric shock drowning. I also feared my marriage was falling apart.
[Evan & Chelsey] Deciding on a church for our family was a big problem we faced! We could never agree on a church that we both felt the Lord was leading us to…until we attended here. While the worship was exactly on point, the messages truly spoke to us – we both felt the Holy Spirit speaking to our hearts and minds.

From the moment our family walked in, we could feel the presence of the Lord all around us!

[Evan] Since being at Lifepoint, we experienced serious complications with our first child. Chelsey had to be hospitalized for 63 days for a calcified placenta, nuchal cord, and short cord with only 2 vessels. However, our church family showed up and helped us get through the difficulties with our daughter! I’m so thankful for the family that I have at Lifepoint.

Some even came to visit and bringus dinner. It was awesome to see the love from our church family. One night while I was away, our pastor and his entire family visited Chelsey and prayed with her. We are so very thankful for that!

Today, we have the most perfect and precious healthy baby girl, Finley. She arrived 6 weeks early and weighed 4lbs 9ozs and was 17 1/2 inches long, but was completely healthy!! We are so blessed to have a healthy beautiful baby girl! Getting through the birth of our daughter would have been extremely difficult without our faith and church family.

[Chelsey] I have personally seen a change in myself and am learning to fully turn everything over to God. Initially, I didn’t realize how much I had changed in just the short time of being here. Over the past month God had been speaking to me and convicting me that I wasn’t really sure if I died where I would spend eternity.

So many questions were running through my head. I knew God was talking to me but I just didn’t know what exactly He was trying to say. I felt like I was always running from Him. Evan and I began talking through my questions. I am so thankful that my loving husband walked me through the gospel and understanding of what Christ has truly done for me. On August 8, 2017, while listing to worship songs, I felt God convicting me in the strongest way. After some prayer time with my husband, I gave up my selfish ways and asked the Lord to forgive me. I gave my life over to Jesus! He has completely changed my life! And I can now say,

God is my Father. He is my God! JESUS is the Lord of my life!

[Evan] Through our time at Lifepoint, I have seen my family grow close to God and to one another. I truly believe Lifepoint has had a huge helping in restoring and saving my marriage. And for that, I’m truly thankful. We have grown most of all in our relationship [with one another] by being slower to respond to one another and in the way we react to each other.

[Evan & Chelsey] Our church has such a serving heart, and the people go out of their way to care for others. While Lifepoint might seem fairly large in size, we love how we still feel so connected with everyone

We love everyone here and love inviting people to our church! The best thing about Lifepoint is that we are family.
